[JMST v1.10] Spirit Scrolls, Boss Spirits and More!

Nexon Japan released the download for the test client today. Unfortunately, they changed the test server details. Now only 200 people can log in at once and the server is time limited to 7 hours a day… I don’t know if I’ll be able to even log in this test phase. Anyway, I got my hands on the client and looked through it and found some interesting stuff. Of course, I’m not an extractor, so I can’t cover everything that has been added, but I’ll share what I’ve found.

Since all or most of you probably already know about the skill updates, professional system, PvP, Door to the Future and whatever else was added in Chaos, I’ll only detail the JMS-original content.

First and foremost, here’s what I found with the Spirit Weapon data :

Spirit Scroll : Success Rate : 15%; It does not use an upgrade slot. Your weapon must have 0 slots before a Spirit Scroll can be applied. Apply this scroll to your weapon to give it more abilities. If failed, this scroll does not blow up your item.

Balrog’s Spirit : The spirit of Balrog that can be infused into a weapon to summon Balrog when enough energy is collected.
Success Rate : 100%; Does not use an upgrade slot.

Dragon Rider’s Spirit : The spirit of Dragon Rider that can be infused into a weapon to summon Dragon Rider when enough energy is collected.
Success Rate : 100%; Does not use an upgrade slot.

Horntail’s Spirit : The spirit of Horntail that can be infused into a weapon to summon Horntail when enough energy is collected.
Success Rate : 100%; Does not use an upgrade slot.

Ani’s Spirit : The spirit of Ani that can be infused into a weapon to summon Ani when enough energy is collected.
Success Rate : 100%; Does not use an upgrade slot.

Jealousy Rocker’s Spirit : The spirit of Jealousy Rocker that can be infused into a weapon to summon Jealousy Rocker when enough energy is collected.
Success Rate : 100%; Does not use an upgrade slot.

Mu Gong’s Spirit : The spirit of Mu Gong that can be infused into a weapon to summon Mu Gong when enough energy is collected.
Success Rate : 100%; Does not use an upgrade slot.

Pink Bean’s Spirit : The spirit of Pink Bean that can be infused into a weapon to summon Pink Bean when enough energy is collected.
Success Rate : 100%; Does not use an upgrade slot.

Rex’s Spirit : The spirit of Rex that can be infused into a weapon to summon Rex when enough energy is collected.
Success Rate : 100%; Does not use an upgrade slot.

Van Leon’s Spirit : The spirit of Van Leon that can be infused into a weapon to summon Van Leon when enough energy is collected.
Success Rate : 100%; Does not use an upgrade slot.

Zakum’s Spirit : The spirit of Zakum that can be infused into a weapon to summon Zakum when enough energy is collected.
Success Rate : 100%; Does not use an upgrade slot.

※Note : According to Silverbullet, all of these boss spirits have a 15% success rate and if it fails, it’ll destroy your item. However, I do not see this data in Comsume.WZ and only as the description in String.WZ for these items. That may be because it’s in the test server. I’ll get a better onfirmation when or if I get into the test server or when the content gets implemented in the official server.

I’ve also located the actual skills for the Spirit Weapons. Here’s an example :

Zakum’s Burning Tower : Summons Zakum to attack an enemy when enough energy is collected.
PvE Stats:
Max Level : 1
Damage : 3000
Attack Count : 1
Mob Count : 15
Burn Probability : 100%
Damage Over Time : 300
DOT Interval : 1 second
DOT Duration : 10 seconds
Cool Down : 600 Seconds
Elemental Attribute : Fire

PvP Stats:
Max Level : 1
Damage : 3000
Attack Count : 1
Mob Count : 15
Burn Probability : 100%
Damage Over Time : 300
DOT Interval : 1 second
DOT Duration : 10 seconds
Cool Down : 600 Seconds
Elemental Attribute : Fire

For PvP, this stuff sounds extremely over powered.

 

 

 

 

 

Next, there’s Monster Familiar stuff. I will NOT post all of the data for that, because there are about 600 different images – a card for each monster in the game – so I’ll only give an example. Note : I do not know if this monster is truly able to be summoned for help for attacking monsters, but this is just an example.

 

 

Aufheben : Use this card to summon Aufheben to help you attack monsters.

 

 

When you summon these monsters, they have a huge variety of skills to use to attack other monsters with. They can hit multiple targets and they can be of a huge variety of types of attacks – poison, stun, etc. I can’t find any specific images of these, so I’ll wait for the extractors to do their business to see if they can find anything. For now, here are some strings as examples of the attacks (these are not all of the strings) :

 

 

 

突進 : 2匹のモンスターに60%の確率で押し出しながら攻撃
Rush : An attack that has a 60% Chance to push 2 monsters.

誘引 : 2匹のモンスターに60%の確率で引き込んで攻撃
Entice : An attack that has a 60% Chance to draw in 2 monsters.

遠吠え : 2匹のモンスターの60%の確率で2秒間気絶させて攻撃
Howl : An attack that stuns 2 monsters for 2 seconds at a 60% success rate.

中毒 : 2匹のモンスターの60%の確率で3秒間中毒させて攻撃
Poison : An attack that can poison 2 monsters for 3 seconds at a 60% success rate.

突撃 : 3匹のモンスターに80%の確率で押し出しながら攻撃
Assault : An attack that has an 80% success rate to push 3 monsters.

捨てられた人形の恨み : 4匹のモンスターに80%の確率で引き込んで二回攻撃
Bitterment of a Thrown Away Doll : An attack that has an 80% success rate to draw in 4 monsters and attack them twice.

狼の咆哮 : 4匹のモンスターが100%の確率で6秒間気絶させ、二回攻撃
Howl of a Wolf : An attack that has a 100% success rate to stun 4 monsters for 6 seconds and attack them twice.

裏切りの毒 : 広域攻撃で、最大5匹のモンスターを10秒間中毒させて攻撃
Poison of Betrayal : With a wide attack, poison up to 5 monsters for 10 seconds.

不滅の愛 : 広域攻撃で、最大6体の敵を引き込んで三回攻撃
Undying Love : With a wide attack, draw in up to 6 monsters and attack them 3 times.

    It’ll be interesting to see how the public’s reaction to the content will be like when they actually get to experience it. I hope this isn’t another rebirth system.

      I’m not sure many people will love the fact that it can be used in PvP. Lmfao If you didn’t see it, I added the data of the Zakum summoning skill in this post. Its cool down is 10 minutes, but still… It sounds way over powered. However, I don’t even know if spirits can be collected in PvP, so we’ll see how that plays out in time, I guess.
